Taking the assessment

How the assessment works - 20 questions, 80% to pass, what happens between attempts.

Updated 17 Jul 2026

Once a learner has watched every module in their visible curriculum, the assessment unlocks.

What it looks like

20 multiple-choice questions, sampled evenly across the four content sections.

There’s no time limit, but the page can’t be left and re-entered - if a learner closes the tab mid-attempt, their progress is lost and they restart from question one.

Note questions are generated in a random order and pulled from a wider pool.

Pass mark

The pass mark is 80% - 16 of 20 questions correct.

As soon as a learner submits, they see their score with a (hopefully) quick celebratory moment, then they can collect their certificate.

We will also point out where they went wrong ...

Flagging questions

Each question has a “🚩 Revisit later” button.

Flagged questions show as amber in the tile strip so a learner can quickly come back before submitting.

Answering a flagged question automatically clears the flag.
